Precision glass molding is an advanced manufacturing technology for cost-effective volume production of aspherical lenses and other precision glass components. It uses ultra-precision compression molding tools as “master” for the reproduction of glass components with complex geometry. High-quality optical surfaces can be achieved by controlling the process conditions (heating, soaking, pressing and cooling stages), without additional grinding or polishing involved.
Casix offers custom molded glass aspheric lenses for telecom, laser, digital imaging, medical and automotive applications. We provide services from design, prototype and mass production.
